DYM Medical Center Vietnam (hereinafter referred to as "the Clinic") has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as "this Policy") regarding the handling of users’ personal information in relation to the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as "the Services").
- Article 1: Personal Information
- Personal Information" refers to “personal information” as defined under the Personal Information Protection Law, and means information about a living individual, including but not limited to name, date of birth, address, telephone number, and other contact details. This includes any information that can identify a specific individual based on such descriptions, and also includes information that can be used to identify a specific individual on its own—such as data related to appearance, fingerprints, voiceprints, and the insurer number on a health insurance card (“Personally Identifiable Information”)
- Article 2: Method of Collecting Personal Information
- When users register to use the Services, the Clinic may request personal information such as name, date of birth, address, telephone number, email address, bank account number, credit card number, driver’s license number, and so on.
In addition, records of transactions and payment information that include users’ personal information—conducted between the user and third-party partners such as information providers, advertisers, advertising distribution platforms, etc., affiliated with the Clinic (hereinafter referred to as “Partners”)—may also be collected and retained. - Article 3 (Purpose of collecting and using personal information)

- To provide and operate the services offered by the Clinic
- To respond to inquiries from users (including identity verification)
- To send emails to users regarding new features, updates, campaigns, etc. of the services they are using, as well as information about other services provided by the Clinic

- To identify users who violate the Terms of Use or attempt to use the services for fraudulent or inappropriate purposes, and to refuse their access or use
- To allow users to view, modify, or delete their own registered information, and to check their usage status
- To bill users for paid services

- Article 4: Changes to the Purpose of Use
- The Clinic will only change the purpose of use of personal information if it is reasonably recognized that the new purpose is relevant to the purpose prior to the change.
If the purpose of use is changed, the revised purpose will be notified to users or announced on this website in a manner determined by the Clinic. - Article 5 (Providing Personal Information to Third Parties)
- The Clinic shall not provide personal information to any third party without the prior consent of the user, except in the following cases. However, this does not apply to cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information or other applicable laws and regulations:
- When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
- When it is especially necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the person concerned.
- When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by them in executing affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the consent of the individual may hinder the execution of such affairs.
- When the following matters have been notified or publicly announced in advance, and the Clinic has submitted a notification to the Personal Information Protection Commission:
- The purpose of use includes provision to third parties
- The types of personal data to be provided to third parties
- The means or methods of provision to third parties
- The individual’s right to request the suspension of such provision
- How to accept such requests
- When the Clinic entrusts the handling of personal information in whole or in part to an external party, within the scope necessary to achieve the intended purpose of use.
- When personal information is provided due to a business succession through merger or other means.
- When personal information is used jointly with a specific party, and the Clinic has notified or made easily available to the individual in advance the items of personal information to be jointly used, the scope of the joint users, the purpose of use by the joint users, and the name of the party responsible for managing the personal information.
- Article 6: Disclosure of Personal Information
- When the Clinic receives a request from an individual to disclose their personal information, we will promptly disclose such information to the individual. However, if any of the following cases apply, all or part of the information may not be disclosed. In such cases, the Clinic will promptly notify the individual of the decision not to disclose. Please note that a handling fee will be charged for each disclosure request.
- If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party.
- If there is a risk of significantly hindering the proper execution of the Clinic’s operations.
- If it would result in a violation of laws or regulations.
- Article 7: Correction and Deletion of Personal Information
- If the personal information held by the Clinic is found to be inaccurate, users may request the Clinic to correct, add to, or delete such personal information (hereinafter referred to as "Correction, etc.") in accordance with procedures established by the Clinic.
Upon receiving such a request from a user and determining that it is necessary to respond to the request, the Clinic will promptly carry out the Correction, etc.
If the Clinic makes any Correction, etc. based on the request, or decides not to make such Correction, etc., the Clinic will promptly notify the user of the decision. - Article 8 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

If it is found that personal information has been handled beyond the scope of the intended purpose of use or has been obtained through fraudulent means, the Clinic will conduct the necessary investigation without delay and suspend the use or delete such personal information (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) as requested by the user.
If, based on the results of the investigation described above, it is determined that the request should be fulfilled, the Clinic will promptly carry out the Suspension of Use, etc.
If the Clinic proceeds with the Suspension of Use, etc. based on the provisions above, or decides not to suspend use, the Clinic will notify the user of such decision without delay.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the two preceding paragraphs, if the Suspension of Use, etc. would incur excessive costs or is otherwise difficult to implement, the Clinic may take alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user. In such cases, these alternative measures shall be implemented. - Article 9: Changes to the Privacy Policy
- The contents of this Privacy Policy may be changed without prior notice to users, except as otherwise provided by law or as otherwise specified in this Policy.
Unless otherwise specified by the Clinic, the revised Privacy Policy shall become effective from the time it is posted on this website. - Article 10: Inquiries and Requests
